Every manufacturer sizes their products differently, and it was a nuisance to have to select several of them at random to find the ones that were easiest to use.
Urine absorbency is given in ccs, but it’s still hard to picture exactly what it means. You only really know once you use them and see if they leak or can’t hold all the fluid.
When it comes to size and comfort, you really can’t know until they actually put them on.

It’s hard to pick a product when you’ve never worn them yourself, so honestly I had no idea which to choose. I picked Lifree because I liked how they advertised pants type that feel like wearing real underwear.

I’d never used a diaper, so I couldn’t even answer the most basic questions—like which size they needed, how much absorbency they needed and how many times, whether they needed a pad and how often … so I ended up trying various different products.

The person I’m caring for can still walk unassisted, so I wanted to get them something that wouldn’t feel like a diaper. Still, each manufacturer had several options and I didn’t know which to choose.

I looked for something that would feel like real underwear so that they wouldn’t be resistant to using them at first.
53 -year-old female
Even with the pants type, though, their pride kept them from wearing them for quite a while.
38 -year-old female
I’d never used them myself, so I really wasn’t sure what to look for.

I thought bigger would be better, but it didn’t work for how much they actually moved around, so they ended up not being able to wear them.

There were too many options, and I didn’t know which would be best for them.

I had no idea which to use with all the options out there. I didn’t understand the differences between them.

I was overwhelmed by all the options … even diapers of the same size have different thicknesses and price per diaper, so it was challenging.
51-year-old male
I’m not the one wearing them, so it’s hard to tell how they feel. The elastic part looks tight, so I’m always rolling it up.
47-year-old female
They pull it off in the middle of the night while they’re sleeping … I guess it’s uncomfortable?
80-year-old female
I guess that no woman wants to wear a diaper, no matter how old they get.

It depends on the physical condition of the person, but if simplifying your caregiving duties is your main goal, you’re likely to overlook any psychological resistance that the person has to wearing the diaper, which in turn could cause them to become depressed. I think that’s the most important thing to watch out for.

If they’re too small, they’re uncomfortable, but if they’re too big, you risk side leakage. Try different varieties to see which ones they like best.

I did urine leakage when I take care mother in law, I miss the time to go to bathroom. And also make a cough.
After that I found that urine care pad is sold in adult diaper shelf, and got surprised there are grade of products based on absorbency capacity. Also, I felt it is less embarrassed and start purchasing together with mother's adult diaper to aim for camouflage.
Now. I do not feel embarrassed to shelf with female napkin.

The first time I experienced urine leakage is when I get severe cough. In that time, I wouldn't want to admit the fact, and excuse myself since my condition was not good.
After that, once a month, I did urine leakage. And finally .from last year, I start using urine care pad. I knew the timing come sooner or later, however I still feel shock.
Urine leakage frequency is gradually increased to one a week, and three times a week... I am very hesitate to go outside.
After that, I accept the fact and start using the pad everyday, and I can spent the daily life without problem now. And, I feel that I should have done earlier.
Now, the amount of leakage is being increased and that's why I start looking for Unicharm product.
Of course, it is embracing to speak to anybody, but by Unicharm product, I can spend the life with confidence.
